دلاق ميري!

صارلي فترة ما دونت مو عشان ما عندي شي اقوله لأ...عشان لي خلق أسوي شي...

قررت أن أكون من عامة الشعب بشراء البلاك بيري!

كنت و ما زلت أكره البلاك بيري لأنه هبه من هبات الكويتيين، بالضبط بالضبط نفس لزقات ماروكو و تويتي قبل جم سنة اللي كانوا يلزقونهم على السيارات...

الموضوع هذا ذكرني في تلفونات نوكيا أول ما ظهروا عندنا، كان أول تلفون يدعم اللغة العربية و ما كان في يونيكود عربي للموبايلات مثل الحين، و كانت تلفونات نوكيا الأكثر إنتشار مو عشان نوكيا هي أفضل شركة تنتج الهواتف النقالة...لأ، عشان التعريب بس.

شنو الشي اللي مسوي هالخبه كلها على البلاك بيري مع ان صارله مليون سنة نازل و مع أن الآيفون أحسن منه 982376 مره؟

في حالة البلاك بيري، برنامج خاص بالبلاك بيري اسمه (بلاك بيري مسنجر) و يسمونه إختصاراً بي بي أم....و هالبرنامج عبارة عن قرقر واجد ماله داعي و تعاميم إدارية بين الربع و نكت و مادري شنو كله مقابل إشتراك شهري بخدمة داتا 14 دينار كويتي...بمعنى ثاني دز مسجات في البلاك بيري مسنجر كثر ما تبي حتى لو حق تلفونات بلاك بيري دولية.

الحين قاعدين تفكرون ليش أنا إتخذت القرار المصيري بإني أترك التميز إللي أنا فيه كوني مو من مؤيدي البلاك بيري و أكون من عامة الشعب بشراءه؟

السبب لأني في الفترة الأخيرة لما أطلع مع ربعي كلهم قرقه في بلاك بيريهاتهم إلا أنا قاعد بينهم جني خيال مآته (للعرب خيال مآته هو الفزاعة اللي تنحط في المزارع)...فقررت أركب الموجة هذي و آخذ واحد مع إني مو مقتنع فيه و لا راح أقتنع فيه.

Shako?!!

Today in Google Kuwait, they used a doodle showing that it's Kuwait's Independence day...This is really nice of them but Kuwait's Independence day is actually on 25th of February while the liberation day is on 26th of February not 26th of January!

Update (31st of January 2010) Google posts in their Arabic blog about human error and they are going to create a new logo on 25th of February and that would make Kuwait the first country with two different logos!

Movies

So this is my first post in 2010, wasn't in the mood for blogging recently...

Whiteout, never seen a movie which was shoot in the south pole before or ment to be that way...Not bad at all.

The Box, I expected it to be way better since it was by Cameron Diaz...It has a weird concept some people hated it while other thought it's OK.

Cirque du Freak: The Vampire's Assistant, I thought it was going to be worst than what I thought but it surprised me...Nice graphics work too.

The Time Traveler's Wife, almost original movie...I watched it yesterday and it kinda reminds me of  The Lake House but this movie is waaaaaay better (at least to me)...I was sad most of the time during the movie.

My top 20 photos of 2009!

Those are my personal favorite photos list which were taken during 2009 by me and published in my flickr photo stream which I kinda use as a photo blog...They will be arranged in ascending order (great to greater LOL).

Thailand 2009

It was a sudden trip to Thailand, I didn't plain it at all...My friends booked in August, at the time I just came back from Hannover, Germany where I had my surgery and the doctor recommended 2 months off any professional work so I spent it all at home doing nothing...It was boring to tears, the headaches are still coming every now and then but it wasn't as bad as it used to be before the surgery.

كانت رحلة مفاجأة، ما كنت مخطط لها بالمرة...ربعي كانوا حاجزين من شهر 8، وقتها كنت توه راجع من رحلة علاج في هانوفر بألمانيا و كان الدكتور موصيني بشهرين من الراحة و كنت طول هالمدة قاعد بالبيت ما أسوي شي...كان حد الملل، الصداع ايي و يروح بس كان وايد أحسن من قبل العملية.

After spending those two months at home, I decided to have 3 more weeks off work because I didn't want to rush into it; why not having 2 or 3 more weeks?!...After all my surgery was performed in my brain not my leg or arm.

بعد هالثلاث شهور من العملية، قررت آخذ إجازة اسبوعين ثلاث من الدوام ما كنت ابي استعيل على الرجعة خصوصاً إن العملية كانت بمخي مو بريلي و الا ايدي.

I spent the first 10 days at home BORED but my friends kept brining the travel thing...I thought I do really need some recreation time, I said OK i will see if there is a place for me on the airplane and it was the last seat.

I did go to Thailand for the first time in my life...It's cool to do things without plaining them, it's more fun.

قعدت أول 10 أيام في البيت زهقان و ربعي كانوا اييبون الموضوع جدامي...قلت يبيلي وقت ترفيه و كان الكرسي اللي حجزته اخر كرسي فاضي بالطياره.

رحت تايلند أول مرة بحياتي...حلو إنك تسوي شي ما تكون مخططله.

So we stayed in Phuket where we went to many trips such as Phi Phi island, James Bond island, Coral island and rafting...Phuket was amazing, but later we went to Bangkok and I really hated it, there is nothing to do over there except shopping and that can be done in Kuwait.

قعدنا في بوكت و رحنا رحلات وايد حق جزيرة في في، جيمس بوند، جزيرة كورال و رحلة التجديف...بكوت كانت حلوة بس بعدين رحنا بانكوك و كانت مو حلوة...ما كان في شي نسويه غير التسوق و هالشي نقدر نسويه بالكويت.

The photo above is my first panorama photo ever, I know it's not that good; I need to practice more.

الصورة اللي فوق عبارة عن أول بانوراما صورتها بحياتي...أدري إنها مو مضبوطة و يبيلي أتدرب أكثر.

Signed, sealed and delivered

It's all begun in the first few days of July 2009 when I got a flickr mail asking me if a certain photo taken by me was available for purchase.

البداية كانت في أوائل شهر يوليو 2009 لما وصلني مسج على فلكر يسألني بخصوص صورة معينة إذا ممكن أبيعها.

At the time my laptop was still stolen and I didn't retrieve it until mid July when I was preparing my self to go to Hannover, Germany for treatment...They asked me if I have the photo in large resolution and I replied with yes and this is it, I didn't get any reply until 28th of July 2009 - that was 4 days after my surgery - The first thing I thought about was what a great timing, I am not going to close that deal...But I did and the photo was finally published in a full page (page# 7) on Bahrain Financial Exchange brochure (PDF file), screen print can be seen below!

في ذاك الوقت كان كمبيوتري مبيوق و ما قدرت أرجعه لغاية نص يوليو و وقتها كنت قاعد أتجهز عشان بسافر هانوفر، ألمانيا للعلاج...سألوني إذا الصورة عندي بحجم كبير و رديت بنعم و ما وصلني رد لغاية 28 يوليو 2009 - بعد 4 أيام من عمليتي - أول شي فكرت فيه ما في توقيت أحلى من جذيه، شكلي ما راح أقدر أكمل معاهم هالموضوع...بس الحمدلله الموضوع مشى و الصورة تم نشرها  في صفحة كاملة (رقم 7) في بروشور سوق البحرين المالي (ملف بي دي أف)، تقدرون تشوفون الصورة مثل ما تم نشرها تحت.

About the day I've taken that photo...
It was a road trip with some friends who are not into photography, usually I don't like to spend time taking photos when I travel with them because it will be annoying...We passed by that bridge many times and finally I asked them to park the car because I really wanted to take a low angle photo of the bridge and I am glad I did.

عن يوم إلتقاط الصورة...

كانت رحلة بالسيارة مع ربعي اللي ما عندهم إهتمام بالتصوير، بالعادة ما أحب أصور لما أسافر معاهم عشان ما أزعجهم...كنا نمر تقريباً على هالجسر بشكل يومي و أخيراً قلتلهم وقفوا السيارة عشان كنت بصور الجسر من زاوية منخفضة و زين إني صورته.

Portable HD camera

Last September I decided to get The flip which is a portable HD camera, but I didn't get a water proof case because it was autumn and I thought that I wasn't going to travel so I didn't need it.

But I did go to Thailand, when I got there I looked for a water proof case for my flip camera but they never heard of it before...I was looking around and I found another Sanyo Xacti HD camera which is cabable of taking 9 mega pixels still photos and it was 1.5 meter water proof...Cool isn't it?

في شهر سبتمبر اللي طاف قررت اشتري كاميرة فلب هاي دفنشن، بس ما شريت لها غلاف ضد الماي لأن الوقت كان خريفي مو مال بحر و كنت حاط في بالي ماكو سفرة.

بس رحت تايلند، لما وصلت هناك دورت على كيس ضد الماي حق كامرتي بس عمرهم ما سمعوا في كاميرات فلب...حست هناك جان القى كاميرة سانيو زاكي ضد الماي متر و نص و 9 ميغا بكلسل للصور الفوتوغرافية.

movies

Avatar is the last movie I watched, I honestly didn't expect it to be that good...It's the first time I watch a sci-fi movie where humans are smarter than aliens :D

Second movie I watched is Paranormal Activity, everybody was talking about how scary is that movie, it was all over twitter recently and I was curious about it...I watched it the way I usually watch a movie, turn off the lights have seeds with soda while I am in bed...

It wasn't scary at all...At least in the first few 20 minutes, but later I turned on the lights LOL

For the next few days I thought it was for real but when I decided to google it I knew that it was another scary story.

I love ghosts movies :D
