And the winner is.....

I had two polls for around two months, first one asking people If I should merge all my blogs in one BIG GIANT BLOG.
3 persons voted NO while 18 voted YES.

I the second poll I was asking If I should blog in Arabic only since I am an Arab blogger in the first place, or Both English and Arabic or English only...Or It doesn matter.
I got 23 voted for Arabic only
13 for Both languages.

I had a hard time making my mind about those issues I finally ended up with the following based on the poll's results:

1. Since most of the voters voted for merging my other blogs in this one, I am going to do it but I will keep the other blogs alive, I am not going to shut them down; I am going to keep them for better organization (at least for now, I might change my mind later who knows).

2. I wasn't sure If I should blog in Arabic or English or both languages at the same time for many reasons for example:

- Sometimes I can express my self better in English while others It's better in Arabic.

- I can reach wider audience If I blogged in English but does it matter If I was talking about local things?

- I've noticed that most of non Arab doesn't know anything about our life style, they only see whatever their media show them which is usually a wrong stereo type about Arab or Islam, so blogging in English is good in this way even If it was about tiny local things.

صح أكتب بالإنجليزي وايد في مدونتي بس ما أقصد بهلشي تفلسف باللغة ترا حتى الخدم يتحجون انجليزي، بس انا اقصد اني اوصل حق الناس اللي ما تتكلم عربي.

قراري بيكون التدوين بالعربي و الانجليزي بنفس الوقت، متى ما برايي السالفة تحتاج كتابة بالعربي كتبت و متى ما شفت ان انجليزي كتبت :S

في الفيديو الأول تكون القصة ان اهوه يبي يروح الشغل و اهيه ما تبيه يروح، اخر شي ياخذ قلبها و يروح....يا حرام ما تهنت بشبابها

Weekend movie review...

I watched two movies during the weekend, "Burn after reading" and "Masjoon Tranzit".

The first movie was censored, almost all of it...It wasn't that good though, I think it was OK.

The second movie is Arabic (Egyptian), I am not a big fan of Arab movies...I was kinda forced to watch it, plus I was a little curious about it since it was post processed by Mounira's company.

Isn't this cool?

Bottled Water of the Middle East

Taken for Brownbook magazine (Published on the 12th issue, you can see below).

I really wished to have a light tent, I even looked for one that time but I couldn't find one back then and I didn't have enough time to get one online.

As you can see, the photo was over exposed on the right side of it because that's where I placed the only Speedlight I used to have (now I have 4).

Bottled water photos were taken by three different photographers from three different middle eastern countries...Don't you just love technology?

P.S. That photo wasn't suppose to be published.

كنت أتمنى لو كان وقتها عندي خيمة إضاءة و وقتها دورت بس ما لقيت و ما كان في وقت كافي عشان أطب وحدة من الإنترنت.

مثل ما انتوا شايفين الجزء اليمين من الصورة تعرض للضوء أكثر من باقي الصورة، و هذا سببه إني كنت حاط الفلاش بهلجهة و ما كان عندي بوقتها إلا واحد (الحين عندي 4).

Look at your self

It might not be the best song in Asalah's 2008 album, but to me it's...

The song is slow with oriental sad melody, my favorite part of it is the violin which plays in the middle part of the song.

In the song, Asalah was making fun of her ex because he used to make fun of her tourment and now he is being through where she used to be.

Certain parts of the translation isn't that good, but I think this is the best translation I could do for that song.
