قطوة الفريج

كان عندنا قطوة بالفريج، يابت عيال و اختفت عن الساحة و عيالها كبروا و يابوا عيال و بعدين اختفوا و ظلت وحدة يابت عيال و انتوا رايحين...الغريب في الموضوع إن القطوة اللي كانت تظل كان لونها دايما نفس لون "اليدة" (الجدة بالعربي الفصيح) العودة أبيض و مبقعة بألوان ثانية.

المهم أيام الجيل ما قبل الأخير (كان هالحجي قبل جم سنة) كنت طالع برة و الا أشوف قطوة صغيرة ضعيفة حدها مادري وين أمها كسرت خاطري راح تموت كانت...ف حطيتلها حليب في "طاسة" و ما كنت تعرف تشرب منها لأنها لي الحين صغيرة و المفروض ترضع...جان اشيلها و احطها مع عيال قطوة الفريج و أهمه يرضعون...قربت منها الأم و قعدت "تشمها" جان تطقها!

شلتها منها و وديتها بعيد و قعدت أفكر "ملياً" شلون أحل هالموضوع...
القطوة الصغيرة ما تعرف تشرب من الطاسة و قطوة الفريج مو راضية ترضعها مع بناتها...
آخر شي شلت وحدة من عيالها الصغار، حطيت عليها ماي و قعدت أحكحكها في القطوة الصغيرة عشان تصير نفس ريحتها...

و بعدين رجعت و انا شايل القطوتين معاي و حطيتهم عن الأم...
قربت الأم من بنتها...شمتها..و قعدت تلحسها...
بعدين قربت من القطوة الثانية...شمتها...و قعدت تلحسها!

يعني تجربتي نجحت و صار حالي حال مندل و اينشتاين و نيوتن!

بعد فترة القطاوة و الأم صار فيهم حزازه (فطريات بشعرهم) و صلعوا كلهم من القطوة اللي لقيتها لوووووووول

Youtube subtitles

Youtube recently added new feature to their service which is subtitles, it's similar to google video subtitles (shown below)...Their goal is allowing their members to reach wider audience.

قامت شركة يوتيوب مؤخراً بإضافة خدمة جديدة لموقعهم و هي إمكانية إضافة ترجمات للفيديو باللغات الأخرى، و هي خدمة شبيهة بخدمة فيديو غووغل (المبينة أدناه)...هدفهم هو جعل الأعضاء الذين يقومون برفع فيديوهاتهم الوصول إلى جمهور أكثر.

غووغل كروم - الإصدار الرسمي

نزلت اليوم النسخة التجريبية من متصفح شركة غووغل الجديد تحت إسم غووغل كروم...مثل ما قلتلكم في التدوينة السابقة.
اول ما لفت نظري فيه سرعة إستجابته الغير طبيعية و اللي ما تتقارن في انترنت اكسبلورر و وحتى فايرفوكس اللي كنت انا اكتب فيه شعر (مع العلم ان فايرفوكس 3 فيه مميزات ما تخطر على بالك أحد)...

اللي يشوف واجهة إستخدام كروم، بيحس ان شاشة كمبيوتره صارت كبيرة...وايد مرتب و نظيف حتى بالغصب بتشوفون المكان اللي نكتب فيه العنوان (يسمونه اومني بوكس)...ما راح اتكلم اكثر و بخليكم تجربونه.

قررت شركة غووغل طرح متصفح انترنت يديد مفتوح المصدر، اسم المتصفح كروم و من المفترض ان ينزل منه النسخة التجريبية في 100 دولة يوم 2 سبتمبر 2008.

طولت غووغل على ما دشت هالمجال بس السؤال اهوه بيقدرون ينافسون فايرفوكس؟
خصوصاً ان النسخة الثالثة من فايرفوكس فيها بلاوي!

ما خلوا شي

أمس بالصدفة أكتشفت خبر ونسني و ضيق خلقي بنفس الوقت...اللي اهوه إعلان شركة نايكون عن أول كاميرا إحترافية تصوير فيديو High Definition.
الكاميرا اليديدة اهي Nikon D90 و تعتبر النخسة المطورة من كاميرتي الحالية D80.

اليوم و انا قاعد احوس بالنت و انا بالدوام...اكتشفت نوع يديد من بطاقات تخزين الـ SD cards...هالنوع اليديد ينربط بشبكات الانترنت اللاسلكية و اللي تعرفونها بـ WiFi...تصورون بالكاميرا و يندزون الصور على طول بدون وايرات ولا شي لي كمبيوتركم او موقعكم على الإنترنت او على الاثنين بنفس الوقت!

انا الحين نفسيتي تعبت حيل ف يا ريت تسونلي قطية و تيبيونلياهم :(

One long blog

I didn't know what to call this blog...
I haven't been so active blogger recently because I've been away (Tunisia) then I cameback and I kinda lost my track of time...Now I'll take you back to my birthday on 23rd of July 2008...

ما كنت ادري شنو اسمي "هالتدوينة"...
صارلي فترة مو نشيط بالكتابة عشان كنت مسافر تونس و لما رجعت كان وقتي خربان...الحين باخذكم ورا ليوم عيد ميلادي 23 يوليو (7)2008...

On my birthday, I wake up (late to work of course) and I had a headache as usual, on my way to work I had a flat tire...It was more like a tiny explosion...I called my father to get me his car and take mine because I didn't want to mess my clothes up...He just yelled at me as usual...

يوم عيد ميلادي قمت من النوم متأخر كالعادة عالشغل و انا بالطريج بنشرت سيارتي (كان اقرب حق انفجار صغير من انه بنشر عادي)...المهم دقيت على ابوي عشان ايبلي سيارته و ياخذ سيارتي مابي اوصخ هدومي و انا متأخر...و سمعني شعر كالعادة...

At work, my supervisor told me why are you late today?
I replied: It's my birthday and I had a flat tire but I have no idea if she believed me or not LOL

في الشغل، مسؤولتي قالتلي ليش متأخر اليوم؟

I almost had a fight with a guy at work, but usually I just walk away before I reach the point were I lose it.

و انا هناك بقيت اتخانق مع واحد حمار حشاكم بس نوعيتي انا لما اعصب امشي عشان ما اظل لي الاخر و انسى نفسي...عشان ما اقلبها فلم saving private rayan

At night, my sister came we had some cake and I left to the airport because I had to go to Tunisia.

في الليل اختي يت و كلينا كيك و بعدين رحت المطار على طول عشان كنت بروح تونس.

In Tunisia, I met people who I knew since the year 2000 online, through phone and SMS (text msgs) for the first time (including Latifa).

في تونس...قابلت ناس كنت اكلمهم من سنة 2000 في الانترنت، و بالتلفون و المسجات للمرة الأولى من ضمنهم لطيفة.

Yesterday I went to the beach with some friends,I slipped on a rock and I had a cut on my sole...Today I was late to work (again) and my supervisor asked me why?
I said: My sole hurts...See?

I am back!

Well it's been more than two weeks since my last post, that's because I had a vacation to Tunisia and then I finally had the chance to meet Latifa 5 times within 9 days; I am not going to talk about this now, but maybe later in details with photos and videos :Pp~

I super hate the police men in their airport because they made me forget two posters I've got from there :(
They made me go back and forth many times and that's why I forgot them :(

كرهوني بعمري شرطة مطار تونس قرطاج....حتى في بوكي طلوا اللي يقول الحين اسكت عملتهم بالسما...فتشوني بمطارهم أكثر من ما تفتشت بمطار الكويت و انا راجع من تونس...بس هم شفت لطيفه 5 مرات في 9 ايام و هذا كافي :Pp¬

I think the clock above is the landmark of Tunis (the capital not the country), even while I was taking that photo police men were standing by me because their ministry of interior was just on the other way.

One more thing...Yeah I had fun since I had the chance to meet Latifa 5 times within 9 days (In case you didn't read the first lines).

انا اعتبر الساعة اللي فوق علامة في تونس العاصمة (مثل ابراج الكويت في الكويت)...حتى و انا قاعد اصور هالساعة كان واقف يمي شرطي عشان كانت وزارة الداخلية مالتهم بظهري...حمدلله و الشكر مادري شلون بصور بظهري!

In The Past Few Days

Have you ever heard of the phrase "Music Globalization"?

If not...Then this is the best way to know my definition of that phrase!

The song released in Latifa's official website a week or so before the official release of the album on 12th of July 2008.

The first time I heard it It shocked me, I didn't expect to listen to anything like that ever...The song mixes genuine Arab singning teqniqe which is "Arab Tarab" (طرب عربي) - you can hear it when Latifa start singing in the beggining - with an Arab sad melody played with violin, in some parts it feels like the violin is dancing with the westurn disco beat and the electro guitar in the song, I can rephrase that to mixing two extreme unrelated music from two different worlds in a great harmony.

I can't explain that anymore, but you have to listen to it and you'll figure it out (and I would love to know what do you think).

As far as I know, the music video is going to release soon...I will add it here when it's out, maybe with English subtitles since many anonymous people requested the translations of the song (I didn't relize that people actually read my blogs!)

UPDATE: They refer to this music genre as "TekTonik" or "Tectonic", it even has it's own dance!

This is the first Arab Tektonik song, Latifa mixed it with Arab instruments.

In the past few days album

I honestly didn't expect anything about this album, I thought it was going to be a "Ma Etrohsh Ba'ed" album deplicate but it wasn't at all!

I do love "Ma Etrohsh Ba'ed" album don't miss understand me but this album reminds me of the old Latifa, Latifa of the 80s and 90s...

I loved most of the songs in the album if not all of them (13 songs in the CD and 12 in the cassette), it took me awhile to get it, I usually hate every album I listen to for the first time.

I can't pick one song as the best song in the album, each song has it's own beauty...But I am sure that the song "Fil Kam Yom illi Fato" (In the past few days) is going to make a HIT if it didn't already!
The song mixes extreme Westurn music with Extreme Arab music teqniqyes and instruments in a great harmony....That's what I call Music Globalization.

One of my super favorite songs in the album is "Sibny Shuwaya" (Leave me alone for a while), i also loved "Ya Aghla Qalb" (The most precious heart", "Ana Omri Ma Hansak" (I will never forget you), "Low Fakir" (If you remember), "Beyikthib" (He is lieing), "Konna Zaman" (We used to be), "Rohi Betrod Fiya" (My soul returns to me), "Fakir Eh" (Do you think).

I am still listening to the album and finding new songs that I might love, but I think it does worth buying.
