Yeeeehaaaaaa....I have no idea why am I excited recently but the important thing...I AM :D
I am back to the photography mood, and been editing photos again however I am not sure I can publish any of them because I have to ask for permission first :D

Clean sensors smells good!

Since the day I baught my camera which is Nikon D80 in July 2007 (a birthday gift from me to me LOL) I never cleaned the sensor until now when I decided I don't really need to post process the dust of my photos after every photo session, so I followed looked it up in YouTube and I ended up with tons of videos about it.

من لما شريت كامرتي في يوليو 2007 (كانت هدية عيد ميلاد من نفسي لنفسي لول) ما نظفت السنسور (بالعربي الحساس) لي قبل شوي لما خلاص قررت اني مليت من اني اشيل كل الغبار من الصور بعد كل جلسة تصوير…دورت على الطريقة بيوتيوب و لقيت مليون فيديو يعلمني اشلون اسويها و سويتها.

I used Kenair Air Duster but that didn't remove it all, so I had to use a brush too…And this is the result (before on the top and after below).

استعملت كن اير اير دستر بس ما قدرت اشيلهم كلهم فيه، فأضطريت اني استعمل فرشة بعد…و هذي النتيجة قبل (فوق و بعد تحت)

Where was i in the past few months?

وين كنت بالفترة الأخيرة....

شهر 5 اللي طاف بديت مشروع فيديو سميته إسم مبدئي Time أو زمان و إكتشفت بعدها بجم يوم إن عندي ورم بالمخ و بطلت الشغل في الموضوع لأن نفسيتي كانت زفت وقتها...بعدين رجعت كملت شوية مع تغيير كلي بالفكرة و غيرت أسم الفيديو و الصوت اللي معاه بعد...

في شهر 6 يت لطيفة الكويت لأول مرة من 20 سنة و كنت تقريباً كل الوقت معاها عشان أصور، و سمعت تقريباً كل اغانيها اليدد من البومها الخليجي الياي، و كنت معاها لما سجلت تتر مسلسل كويتي المفروض ينزل برمضان...و للعلم بس أغنية المسلسل روعة!
صج ان كلامها يضيق الخلق بس وايد حلوه :)

و بشهر 7 انباق كمبيوتري بكل شي يديد صورته فيه و حسيت خلاص ان الدنيا قاعدة تنهار دار مداري بس الحمدلله على كل شي اليوم رجعلي.

طبعاً لما إشتغلت بالفيديو أكثر الوقت كنت بقمة الإحباط و يمكن هذا مبين من كلام الأغنية..

In May I begun a new video project with the code name "Zaman" (Arabic for time, destiny, life), but later I found out about my brain tumor and I quit working on the project since I was super depressed at the time....But later I did a little more work on the project and decided to change almost everything about the concept, the name and the audio track...

In June Latifa came to Kuwait for the first time in 20 years, I was almost all the time with her as a photographer/fan, I even listened to most of her new songs from her upcoming album, I also was in the studio when she was recording a new song to be used as an intro of an upcoming TV show and let me tell you it's AMAZING!
The lyrics is sad but that doesn't make the song less beautiful :)

In July my computer was stolen with almost all my recent data was gone...I felt as if the world was falling apart around me...But thank God anyway I did retrive it today.

When I was working on the video I was depressed almost all of the time, you'll notice that from the lyrics...

I loved that video, it's a sequel of photos taken on the road from Bahrain to Kuwait by 3 Bahraini guys.

I think it's very creative idea, I love it except I wonder why do they need all that bread for?

That song was released in 2007, it's not the main song in the album yet it was my favorite song in that album.

In late 2008 she released the music video of that song, I didn't expect it from her because usually when I like a song of a certain singer he/she never make a music video of that specific song.

I totally loved the music video, I think it's the best music video in 2008...That would include Latifa's music videos too!

Making of narciso rodriguez photo session

I don't have plenty of non Arab visitors to my blog, infact i rarely have visitors at all LOL

But if you are interested to know what have I done exactly during that photo session, post a comment and I will translate

من زمان ما كتبت شي عن التصوير بس اليوم قلت لازم أكتب شي...

في يوم عيد الأم يبت حق أمي عطر narciso rodriguez مع معطر للشعر و after shave

لا مو افتر شيف اقص عليكم لوووول...مع لوشن كلهم نفس العطر، و إكتشفت بعدين انه مو عاجبها فقلت ما راح اييبلها شي بعد :P

المهم...قبل ما اعطيها اياه قلت خل اصورهم، بما ان صارلي فترة هاب في تصوير الطبيعة الصامتة Still life و التصوير التجاري تحديداً.

كانو محطوطين في علبهم، ما فتحتهم...حطيت الخلفية جيس أسود بنفس ماركة العطر و كانت الأرضية في أول لقطة على ورق بورد أبيض عليه بقع وردية بس ما عجبني بعد أول صورتين...غيرت ورق البورد و حطيت بداله منظرة (مرآة)، و حبيت الصور أكثر بس اثنين من العلب لونهم ابيض و وحدة لونها وردي...عشان اسوي تباين بينهم أكثر شلت علبة بيضا منهم و حطيت بدالها بطل العطر اللي لونه أسود و طلعت بالصورة اللي تحت اللي إستخدمت فيها ثلاث فلاشات، واحد على الكاميرا و واحد على اليمين و واحد على اليسار.

طبعاً انا حبيت أسوي شي ثاني بعد بالإضاءة، فحطيت البطل الأسود هالمرة بروحه مع فلاش واحد وراه و فلاش واحد على اليسار و فلاش على الكاميرا، و رشيت ماي على الأرضية...ما طلعت النتيجة مثل ما كنت اتمناها و ما جربت أكثر لأني كنت قاعد على السيراميك و حدي متكسر لووول

العيب في الصورة الثانية:

1. المفروض يكون في إضاءة من فوق عشان يبين الغطا

2. لازم امسح المنظرة مالتي عشان الغبار صار طين لووول

و الحين أخليكم تشوفون الفيديو اللي صورته نفسي و انا قاعد اسوي جلسة التصوير هذي :P

OK guys, while I was driving to work today...I heard about a soccer player (African Muslim playing for Spanish team) called Frédéric Omar kanoute who was playing on a game, then he raised his t-shirt that's when a shirt beneath appeared saying "Palestine" in different languages.

He had to pay 3000 USD for doing that...
As far as I know a year or so another football player (also African) kissed "Israeli" flag but they didn't make him pay cash for it...If this is not double standards I don't know what it is.

Youtube subtitles

Youtube recently added new feature to their service which is subtitles, it's similar to google video subtitles (shown below)...Their goal is allowing their members to reach wider audience.
