الأخوة في بعثة دولة الكويت الدائمة في مجلس الأمن مسوين مجهود جبار بالشغل يعطيهم العافية، فحبيت اهديهم تذكار يوثق مشاركتهم خلال عضوية الكويت الغير دائمة بمجلس الأمن، لما شفت الصورة مع الكلام اللي كتبوه على تويترهم ضحكت، فاهمين عدل الغرض من وسائل التواصل الاجتماعية اللي بالعادة لما تكون رسمية تكون وايد مملة و جد و ناشفة لي درجة أنهم ما يردون على أحد او يسون ريتويت حتى لو كان حق جهة رسمية ثانية.

كنت بالأساس ابي اسوي تصميم مودرن بس مو ممل مثل الأشياء الرسمية بالعادة، كان في بالي استخدم شعار الأمم المتحدة مع السطرين يمين الشعار انكليزي و عربي عاليسار باللون الابيض و تكون الخلفية ازرق الأمم المتحدة، بس بعد ما دخلت على موقعهم و قريت عن شروط استخدام شعارهم بالتصاميم قررت استعمل شعار الدولة الرسمي عشان ما يصير علي عقوبات دولية و يمنعوني من تصدير صابون اومو، جربت اول شي اخليه تحديد بالابيض نفس طريقة شعار #الأمم_المتحدة بس ما طلع حلو مثل ما كنت متوقع فخليت ألوانه الطبيعية.

اكتشفت بعدين أن التطور التقني اللي صار من طلع #شعار الدولة غير ألوان شعار #الكويت الرسمي في مواقع الدولة الرسمية لأن ما في شي عندنا اسمه براند مانجر...الصقر صار لونه برتقالي بس بالأساس الصقر بالشعار لونه ذهبي و ريشه ذهبي و فضي، بس لو تلون الصقر بلون مدرج برتقاليات و رماديات ممكن يعطي هذا الإيحاء.

و قبل لا احد يسأل...الجواب لأ، محد سوالي بعدها فولو على تويتر اتوقع شارين الفولورز ملوتهم.

فحتى مزحة أو كَلمة طيبة قد تُطلق العنان للجنحان...

فتطيرُ بك و تأخُذُك فَوقَ غَيمة بأيِّ مكان...

و عملك سيُذكر حتى بعد فواتِ الأوان...

و إن لم يُذكر فكُن متيقناً بأنك تركت أثراً...

حتى و لو لم يُأخذ كل ذلك بالحسبان...

فستشعر بأنك قد تملكت جميع الجِنان...

بالنهاية قيل...إنَّ الإحسان يقابله إحسان...

In our communities, hard working people are not appreciated until it's too late...

And workaholics get more and more work to do...

And who does't do anything doesn't get held in account as a workaholic...

And I like to show my appreciation for whoever does his job in perfection...

I may add that it's better than when it's too late...

I prefer to show my admiration at this moment which is now...

Even a joke or one nice word would give someone wings...

That would fly them above a cloud anywhere...

But certainly your work would be remembered even when it's too late...

And if it wasn't then you should know that you already left an impact...

Even if nobody made you feel that you did...

Finishing your job perfectly feels as if you've own all the gardens...

At the end the say, what comes around goes around...

أتعاملُ مَعَ الجميعِ بحُسنِ نِيَّة...

دون أهداف أو أجِندة خَفية...

مع فتح الباب لفُرصَةٍ وحيدة...

Arabic Language Fanatic | مُتَعصَّبٌ للغةِ العربية

يَتنازَعون على أفضليَّةِ أجهِزة...

أو أيُّهما أحسَنُ من بَرامِجها التَّشغيلِيَّة...

و هُم حتّٰى لم يُساهِموا بالصَّنعة...

وكَأنَّه لَمْ يتبقَّ بالعالمِ أيَّةُ مُشْكلةٍ...

فأنا مُتَعصَّبٌ جداً للغةِ العربية...

فهي تُهدي لمشاعري الحياةَ...

و على التعبيرِ عنها قادِرة...

و لكِن ليس مُهم أن تَتَحدث بأيِّ لُغة... 

الأهَمُّ بالنِّهايَةِ...

أن تَصِل إلى نتيجة 

They argue about the preferences of their devices...

Or which of them runs the best operating system...

While they weren't even a part of the manufacturing process...

As if there isn't any other problem left in the world... 

I am an Arabic language fanatic... 

Since It's capable of bringing life to my emotions... 

And allows me to express myself precisely... 

Eventually, it doesn't matter what language do you speak...

At the end... 

The important thing is that you get to some results

أوسكار الحياة | The Oscars of life

أرى الحَياة كَتَمثيلِيَّة جَميعُنا بها الأبطال...

و أنا لي حُريَّة الخَيار بِمُشاهدةِ الأوسكار... 

أتجاهَلُ أنا الكَثير لأرَكِّز على بعضِ الأمور... 

فابتعد عن الحياة و البشر و كُلَّ شئٍ مار... 

أحتاج أنا جيوش لإخراجِ ما خُبِزَ بِالتَّنور... 

أفكار جَمَّة برأسي تدور كإعصارِ فُشار... 

أرغب لها بأن تظهر لِتَرى جميعها النُّور... 

و لا أرغب أن يأتي آخِر نهار قبلَ خُروج الإعصار!

I see life as a TV series and we are all the stars...

And I have the freedom to watch or turn off the Oscars...

شفت التصميم مكان و قررت اطبقه بطريقتي على ساعتي الرقمية و على ساعة فعلية ممكن أعلقها بالبيت...

Lyric video

في الفترة الآخيرة لاحظت إنتشار ما يعرف بالـ Lyric video و هي عبارة عن فيديوهات على اليوتيوب لأغاني معروفة مع صور متحركة ترافق الأغنية بالإضافة إلى كلمات الأغنية...فقررت أن أرى إمكاناتي في عمل ذلك، غإخترت أغنية و بعدها إخترت صورة و بدأت العمل على برنامج Adobe Photoshop و من ثم نقلت الصورة إلى برنامج Adobe After Effects و الذي و للأسف لا يدعم اللغة العربية...و بدأت العمل على الفيديو لأول يوم لمدة 5 ساعات تقريباً و كانت النتيجة الأولى كالآتي...

و لكثرة تدقيقي بالصورة لاحظت بأنني أستطيع أن أقوم بتحريك الصورة بطريقة معينة فأكملت العمل لليوم الثاني و الثالث على الفيديو ليظهر بهذا الشكل...

و في اليوم الرابع رأيت بأنه من الممكن أن أستخدم محتويات الصورة في عمل تأثير أجمل للفيديو من خلال المصابيح في الخلفية مما يضيف حياة على الصورة، أعتقد أن نهاية الفيديو أجمل من بدايته لأنني كنت أتعلم أكثر كلما تقدمت في التصميم...و كانت النتيجة النهائية التي أعجبت لطيفة و شاركتها على جميع وسائل التواصل الإجتماعي الخاصة بها...

A story of a photo, Kuwait as seen by me!

الكويت مثل ما انا اشوفها، قصة صورة

That photo was taken by me (DUH!) in January of 2009, I was on the way back home from work when I notice those beautiful clouds around…The good thing I had my camera that day.

صورت هالصورة في يناير 2009، كنت راد البيت من الدوام و لفت نظري شكل الغيم…و كان زين مني يومها اني يايب كامرتي ما اذكر ليش.

I loved it so much to the point where I thought not to share it with anybody, thinking that I might publish it on flickr in February 2010 on Kuwait's national day (but I didn't until I cameback from my trip to Dubai, totally forgot…Remember I have the worst memory ever?)

وايد حاب الصورة لي درجة اني قررت ما اشارك فيها احد، كنت مفكر اني أنشرها في فلكر باليوم الوطني حق الكويت فبراير 2010 بس بوقتها رحت دبي و نسيت و ما نزلتها الا بعد ما رجعت…مثل ما انتوا عارفين ان ذاكرتي اي شي…و اذا لي الحين مو عارفين، الحين صرتوا عارفين.

It was in my HDD for so long, I didn't post process it until June 2009 when I participated in the Second Diplomat Hobbies Exhibition, which was broadcasted on Kuwait TV among other photos (can be watched below).

الصورة كانت في الهارد دسك مدة طويلة، ما اشتغلت فيها لغاية يونيو 2009 لما شاركت في معرض هوايات الدبلوماسيين الثاني و اللي تم بثه على تلفزيون الكويت (تقدرون تشوفونه تحت الا اذا ما تبون تشوفونه و تبوني اذبحكم كلكم).

Amazing artist

من فترة رحت أصور تمثالين لصالح مجلة ذوق للنحات الكبير سامي محمد، من قبل شفت أحد اعماله بس ما كنت أدري إنه له...

التمثال الأول للمغفور له الشيخ صباح السالم الصباح و إرتفاعه تقريباً 3 أمتار و التمثال الثاني للمغفور له الشيخ عبدالله السالم الصباح (اللي تشوفونه بالصورة فوق).

بعدين إكتشفت إن التمثالين صارت عليهم سالفة في مجلس "الشسمة" و إضطروا أصحاب المكان اللي موجودين فيه التماثيل على إنهم يرفعون السور عشان محد يقدر يشوفهم و السبب طبعاً عشان التماثيل حرام شرعاً.

بغض النظر عن هالموضوع التمثالين جد تحفة فنية من تفاصيل و ضخامة، لدرجة إني لما رحت أول مرة أشوفهم إنبهرت و قعدت أفكر إشلون النحات إشتغل على تمثال الشيخ سالم مع العلم إن إرتفاعه 3 أمتار أو يمكن أكثر و بعدين إشلون يابوه في هالمكان؟

عموماً...الصور صورتهم أنا كبروفة لأني كنت حاب أجرب الرسم بالضوء (لأول مرة) في هذي الجلسة تحديداً لأن في بالي أظهر التماثيل بشكل مشابه لتمثال أبو الهول في الليل، حسيت هالأسلوب راح يعطيهم هيبتهم.

جلسة التصوير الأصلية كانت المفروض تكون بحضور النحات سامي محمد بس ما صار الموضوع لأنه كان مسافر و كان العدد اليديد من المجلة راح ينزل، في الآخر إنلغت الجلسة و قرروا ينشرون الصورة اللي فوق من البروفة مع صور أرشيفية للنحات.

إستخدمت إضاءة بيضا في رسم التمثال عشان جذيه لونه مايل للأزرق و الجزء اللي على اليسار حده باط جبدي بس ما فكرت أشيله وقتها لأني كنت حاط في بالي إن جلسة التصوير بروفة بس :S

في الأخير أحب أشكر الأخوة في مجلة ذوق خصوصاً السادة بدر الحجيلان و أحمد الغانم على هالتجربة :)

I had the other day a photo session for Thouq magazine of two amazing statues of the great scluptor Sami Mohammad, which I've seen his work before but I had no idea who was the artist at the time.

The first statue is around 3 meter high of the late prince Sabah AlSalim AlSabah while the other one of late prince Abdullah AlSalim AlSabah.

I've seen the statues before the photo session just to have a general idea about their location and how to shoot them, I decided to use painting with light technique...I wanted them to look the sphinx in the middle of the night, I thought it will give them a prestige.

Few days later I went back for a test shoot since the original Sami Mohammad was going to be a part of the photo shoot but at the time he was traveling abroad and not going to comeback soon so the magazine decided to use the photo above with other archival photos.

I used white light for painting, that's why it looks blueish...I hate the left part of the photo, I could fix that but I didn't because at the time I thought this is just a test photo session :S

V for Valentine's day | عيد الحب

I don't really celebrate it but I do think that people should celebrate love all year 24 hours 365 days (366 days in this year), plus Valentine's day is being about gifts while it suppose to be about love in the first place...
I've made this tiny video file...

ما احتفل فيه بس أعتقد أن الناس المفروض تحتفل بالحب كل يوم بالسنة مو بس بعيد الحب، عيد الحب صار تجارة بدال ما يصير للحب...

Oh one more thing....It's Latifa's birthday (the singer) and her official website is hacked on her birthday...What a great gift LOL
You can see the message below in Arabic saying that it was hacked by foreigners because of Latifa's political point of view :D

توه غيرت دخلة الويب سايت مالي مثل ما تشوفون في الصورة فوق...ما كنت حاب جودة الصورة اللي في الإنديكس القديم.

Finally RADIANTGUY.COM launched!

It's true :D
It took me 8 months after the day I registered my domain name RADIANGUY.COM and 3 months of web and graphics design to get it out.

OK...I published it on 27th of October 2007 and it was available for few seconds until I found out about some bugs and I had to fix them all.

- The first bug was the server didn't support Arabic script and it doesn't show the copyright symbol in the English section so I had to add a script forcing the browser to show them correctly (I didn't test it with Internet explorer yet).

- Some photos didn't appear in the portfolio section and I totally freaked out because I had no idea what was wrong exactly!, I knew nothing was wrong with the files names but still didn't get it!...Eventually I realised that the extensions were written in upper case so I had to change 90% of them and re upload them.

- Then I had a problem with the favicon but that was fixed too :D

- Last thing was a problem with the domain name it self, so I had to contact the support team to tell me what to do...I'll make sure to let them regret the day I became their customer LOL

I know no body noticed it at the time, but now the website is finally OUT for public.

NOW YOU CAN SEE THE UNLIT PART ;)

I would like to know how do you all think about it, do you like it or not (consider that I am not a web designer)?

I don't like some parts of it such as contact and links section, I guess I wasn't in the mood that day so I might redesign them later.

Currently I am doing the final touches before uploading the index page and allow people to get into my world, I will make a video file of the launching for my personal archive.

I did create a website years in 1999 and it was hosted on free hosting servers, but I never published a site on a paid server...I thought it's hard to do it...But it wasn't at all, If I can do it everybody can.

PAINT SHOP PRO X2 is OUT!

I can't wait until I get back home to install it on my PC, the new grey user inteface looks amazing :D

في العجله الندامه!

انا ما بتكلم عن حوادث السيارات...
بس بتكلم عن شي بالغرافيكس...
صورت هالصوره من اكثر من شهر و ما كنت برفعها...بس امس رحت سويت جلسة تصوير خارجي و صورت الصورة اللي شايفينها في الخلفية, بعدين قررت اني استخدم الصورة اللي صورتها من اكثر من شهر فيها و النتيجة شايفينها.

للعلم بس الخلفية صورتها مرتين, مافي فرق بينهم بس في الصورة هذي تمر سيارة ورا النخلة اللي شايفينها و جدامها بس الصورة الثانية تمر من ورارها بس :+

يمكن في أشياء نصورها و ما نتهتم فيها بوقتها او لسبب معين ما نحبها بس بعدين نحتاج نستعملها في شي.

للعلم فقط...اعتبر الصورة الخلفية أول صورة تتعلق بالسيارات قمت بإلتقاطها.

On my last night photo session, I've taken two versions of the background...It looks amazing, isn't it?
Anyway...I edited the old photo and used it on the foreground.
I consider the background photo as my first car-related shot :>

Anyway I was trying to sleep but I couldn't so I worked a little bit on a secret project then begun to edit this photo to upload it flickr and some other profiles.

I don't know why usually people start judging their self in the end of the year only, If they kept judging thier actions all year the world would be a greater place.
